Our practice loves brand-new innovations, especially when it enhances the dental care that we can provide to our clients. Because of this we now provide same day crowns.

Same day crowns are a terrific brand-new technology where stunning all porcelain crowns are developed within two hours of the prep work of a tooth for a crown. The old procedure was where the dentist prepared your tooth for a crown, took an impression and sent this impression to a lab to have the crown built. During this time the patient would have to have a short-term plastic crown that was always uncomfy.

Today, our equipment allows us to scan the tooth preparation and mill out a brand-new all porcelain crown within 2 hours. This means that the client leaves our office with the final crown that day!

  • There's no need to have a temporary crown for two or three weeks.

  • There's no need to return again to have the same day crown placed on your tooth.

  • There's no need to be numbed once more! No more shot needles!

Our practice prefers same day crowns because it is made of gorgeous material and also extremely resilient.

If your interested in a same day crown, please give our practice a call.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used in a broad scope of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

Today's Conversation Is About:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a treatment in which we use a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be utilized in specific scenarios where a tooth has actually been broken or ended up being stained. These are usually minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this fairly inexpensive methods rather than through a more pricey dental treatment.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to alter the positioning of the tooth, close spaces in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material adheres to the surface. Then the material itself is put on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to get a lustrous finish as a last step.
