Same Day Tooth Restorations
CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.
CEREC can be utilized for a broad range of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.
Identifying problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, pricey procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mostly used to find:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.
Big on-screen X-rays make patient communication more efficient. The instant observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.
Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the client and the doctor to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a large format for much easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available instantly after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also enables us to send out and get your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
