If you have a missing tooth or teeth, you know the embarrassment and discomfort this can cause. You have probably been investigating methods you can restore your smile and great bite. We think you will be extremely interested to know that at our practice, you have the ability to get same day crowns! It is a comfy one-day treatment!

Our entire dental practice is advanced, except for our client care and concern which is standard. We understand the discomfort missing teeth can cause patients, and for that reason we are really delighted to be able to offer patients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to reinforce a tooth, and return it to its original function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the nearby teeth, so they can not be identified by others as being anything less than a long-term tooth. With a dental crown, you are able to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never ever be disrupted. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it exists in your mouth.

Same day crowns are a really interesting offering of our practice. We have the ability to offer you with a stunning brand-new smile in just one day. Our office has advanced equipment that enables dental practitioners to provide you with crowns in simply a small fraction of the time that was needed previously.

CAD/CAM technology is what makes this exciting advancement possible. The acronym means computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We are able to use this innovation in our system. This system is used to fix teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an additional visit to our practice, a week or two later. We're sure you have far more amazing things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dentist's chair any longer than you have to!

Using our new system, we scan the prepared tooth in your mouth or from an impression, then send out the information to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the specific specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. Once the crown is crated, we position it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your new tooth to a beautiful and natural-looking radiance. This innovation can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you need a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or business occasion, this procedure may certainly be perfect for you. If you have an interest in learning more about this procedure, contact us today for a consultation.

Today's Topic Will Be:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Spotting problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, costly procedures or surgeries. X-rays are primarily utilized to find:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Huge on-screen X-rays make patient communication more effective. The instant observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.

Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It allows the patient and the medical professional to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a big format for easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent establishing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also allows us to send and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
