Why Are These Crowns Called Same Day Crowns?

This state-of-the-art technology allows your dentist to take accurate images of your tooth and use those images to design, manufacture, and position a porcelain or zirconia crown in a single visit. Same day crowns offer exceptional benefits, value, and precision to our clients.

How Does The Same Day Crown Technology Work?

The same day crown procedure consists of three basic steps. 1st, your dental practitioner uses 3D imaging to take extremely accurate images of your tooth and the surrounding structures. 2nd, they then download these images into a computer and, using computer-assisted design software, develops your custom-fitted crown. From there, your dentist will send the design to their in-office accuracy milling device which develops the crown out of a block of dental porcelain or zirconia. Once they stain and glaze the crown for added strength and esthetics, your dental practitioner will place it on your tooth.

What Are The Benefits Of Same Day Crowns?

We just use dental porcelain and zirconia to develop our same day crowns. These metal-free restorations offer unparalleled strength, durability, chip and stain resistance, and natural appeal.

Precision-fitted same day crowns need less tooth prep work and maintain more of your tooth structure.

Conventional crowns need two office visits. With same day crowns, you can come to our dentist's office for a visit and leave with a perfectly restored tooth.

You can prevent the trouble and potential risks connected with ill-fitting temporary crowns.

Today's Conversation Will Be About:

Porcelain Veneers (Tooth)

Veneers are a very thin pieces of durable, tooth shaped, porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental laboratory. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a stunning and attractive smile.

Veneers can entirely reshape your teeth and smile. They can often be alternatives to crowns and the ideal solution in treating lots of cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

Similar to the majority of dental restorations, veneers might one day require replacement; however, they are still really durable and will last multiple years, offering you a long lasting, beautiful smile.

How Are Veneers Set?

Veneers are a dental treatment in which a covering is put over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are usually only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or smiling. The treatment can be direct or indirect.

The direct strategy typically involves putting composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This approach is normally referred to as bonding.

The indirect strategy generally involves two visits because the veneers will be fabricated at a dental lab. At the first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are offered a temporary covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the lab, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The laboratory made veneers are generally made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are very esthetic.

The advantage of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is eliminated, and the procedure is typically less uncomfortable. Veneers are not suggested for teeth that have large fillings or little tooth structure.

You will receive care instructions for your veneers. Appropriate brushing, flossing and routine dental visits will help in the life of your brand-new and stunning veneers.
