If you have a fractured or damaged tooth, are experiencing pain when chewing or exposed to hot or cold temperature levels, or want to get rid of unattractive metal crowns or fillings, then dental crowns might be a good choice for you. Dental Crowns cover the outter surface area of the affected tooth, adding sturdiness and stability to it.

Same-day dental crowns are a choice that we offer on a case by case basis to patients who would gain from the treatment. They allow clients to come to our office and leave within a couple hours with their final dental crown in place that same day. This removes the need to have a short-term crown placed then another check-up scheduled for the placement of the permanent crown.

Our Same-Day Crowns are made with our new innovation that scans the mouth to get the appropriate measurements of your tooth and surrounding teeth, and then makes your crown right there in the office. These restorations are extremely strong and durable and constructed out of the highest quality porcelain available. Sometimes, a gold crown might be suggested for your posterior teeth (back teeth) if you grind or clinch your teeth a lot.

Gold crowns are different from porcelain crowns, and the cost may differ between the two and you may want to talk about your budget plan too with the your dentist. Your dentist will go over with you the kinds of crowns available and offer you a suggestion based upon your specific situation.

Call us to set up a complimentary cosmetic consultation. We look forward to meeting you.

Today We Will Be Going Over:

Porcelain Teeth Veneers

Veneers are a very thin pieces of long lasting, tooth shaped, porcelain that are customizeded (for shape and color) by a professional dental laboratory. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to produce a gorgeous and attractive smile.

Veneers can entirely improve your teeth and smile. They can often be alternatives to crowns and the ideal solution in treating lots of cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

Just like most dental restorations, veneers may at some point need replacement; however, they are still very long lasting and will last years, providing you a long lasting, stunning smile.

How Are Veneers Set?

Veneers are a dental procedure in which a covering is placed over the outside (noticeable area) of the tooth. Veneers are usually only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or smiling. The procedure can be direct or indirect.

The direct strategy typically involves positioning composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This approach is usually referred to as bonding.

The indirect technique usually involves two visits because the veneers will be produced at a dental laboratory. At the first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are offered a short-term covering. In 2 to 3 weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The laboratory fabricated veneers are generally made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are really esthetic.

The benefit of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is eliminated, and the procedure is usually less unpleasant. Veneers are not advised for teeth that have huge fillings or little tooth structure.

You will get care guidelines for your veneers. Appropriate brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will aid in the life of your brand-new and stunning veneers.
