Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns meant coming into the dental practitioner's office at least two times. The very first check-up included getting an impression of your tooth and a short-term crown. Then, a few weeks later, a 2nd visit permitted the short-term crown to be eliminated and a new permanent crown to be positioned on your tooth. We use the latest technology to make dental work easier for you and your day to day schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a state-of-the-art same day crown innovation to develop ceramic onlays and crowns that fit just right, in simply one check-up with a small camera to produce a 3D image of the tooth that needs to be fixed. This indicates a physical mold, which is unpleasant and time consuming, is no longer needed.

Using CAD/CAM software, We develop a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling device. This innovation can create the new restoration in just 15 minutes.

The restoration is glued to your tooth using a bonding material, and the new addition will match your natural teeth so nobody will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today for more details about same day crowns technology, and take care of those problems you may have been avoiding.

Today's Topic Is:

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a metal device created to replace missing teeth. The device is typically constructed out of titanium and is surgically placed into the jawbone where the tooth is missing. An implant is permanent, unlike a dental bridge.

Crowns and conventional bridges or dentures might not be your only options when replacing missing teeth. For some individuals, dental implants provide a smile that feels and look extremely natural. Surgically placed below the gums over a series of visits, implants fuse to the jawbone and function as a base for bridges or a denture, individual replacement teeth.

Implants provide stability since they fuse to your bone, a procedure called osseointegration. Integration of these implants into your jaw also helps your replacement teeth feel more natural and some people also discover the secure fit is more comfortable than conventional replacements. Prospects for dental implants have to have healthy gums and adequate bone to support the implant.

How Involving Is A Dental Implant?

A dental implant might be an option to replace a missing tooth. In this procedure, a little titanium shaft is surgically {placed|implanted into the bone and allowed to set. The bone grows around it forming a tight connection, which in addition slows or stops the bone loss that takes place when the root of a natural tooth is missing. As soon as the implant is firmly set in the mouth, the dentist then works to connect the replacement tooth onto the top of the shaft. This permanent solution has the advantages over bridge work that it does not need the surrounding teeth for support, and, should the tooth break, another can merely be replaced on the shaft.

Implants can also be used as support as part of an implant bridge. This is an option to partial dentures, and has numerous benefits. First, there is no modification period to acclimatize the patient who, when the work is done, only feels teeth, not metal supports intruding into the mouth. Second, this slows the bone loss occasioned by missing teeth. Third, there is no discomfort or difficulty in eating. And, best of all, of course, they don't need to be taken out all the time.
