Temporary crowns and second visits for crowns are now usually unnecessary thanks to the same day crown technology. We offer this amazing one-visit crown innovation in our office, adding higher convenience to the procedure of getting a crown. The waiting time between your procedure and when you get your long-term crown is eliminated.

The same day crown innovation is an instrument that permits ceramic restorations (veneers, inlays, onlays, and crowns) to be carried out in one check-up instead of 2. The computer collaborates with a digital camera enabling the dentist to make digital impressions without the annoyance of bulky impression material.

After taking the picture the computer takes control and mills your custom crown right away so that we can cement your new crown that very same day. The outcomes we see are incredible. With the same day crowns, the strength, aesthetics, and fit of the ceramic restorations are superb.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a metal device created to replace missing teeth. The device is usually constructed of titanium and is surgically placed into the jawbone where the teeth are missing. An implant is permanent, unlike a dental bridge.

Crowns and traditional bridges or dentures may not be your only options when replacing missing teeth. For some individuals, dental implants provide a smile that looks and feels extremely natural. Surgically positioned below the gums over a series of appointments, implants fuse to the jawbone and function as a base for bridges or a denture, individual replacement teeth.

Implants provide stability because they connect to your bone, a procedure called osseointegration. Integration of these implants into your jaw also helps your replacement teeth feel more natural and some people also discover the secure fit is more comfy than conventional replacements. Candidates for dental implants should have healthy gums and adequate bone to support the implant.

What Does A Dental Implant Involve?

A dental implant might be an option to replace a missing tooth. In this treatment, a little titanium shaft is surgically {placed|implanted into the bone and allowed to set. The bone grows around it forming a tight connection, which in addition slows or stops the bone loss that happens when the root of a natural tooth is missing. When the implant is securely embeded in the mouth, the dentist then works to attach the replacement tooth onto the top of the shaft. This permanent solution has the advantages over bridge work that it does not stress the surrounding teeth for support, and, should the tooth break, another can merely be replaced on the shaft.

Implants can also be used as support as part of an implant bridge. This is an alternative to partial dentures, and has multiple benefits. First, there is no modification period to acclimatize the patient who, once the work is done, only feels teeth, not metal supports intruding into the mouth. Second, this slows the bone loss occasioned by missing teeth. Third, there is no pain or problem in eating. And, best of all, of course, they do not have to be taken out all the time.
