Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns implied coming into the dental practitioner's office a minimum of 2 times. The first visit included getting an impression of your tooth and a short-term crown. Then, a few weeks later, a second visit allowed for the temporary crown to be removed and a new long-term crown to be placed on your tooth. We use the latest technology to make dental work easier for you and your day to day schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a cutting edge same day crown innovation to produce ceramic onlays and crowns that fit perfectly, in just one check-up with a small camera to develop a 3D image of the tooth that needs to be repaired. This means a physical mold, which is undesirable and time consuming, is no longer needed.

Using CAD/CAM software, We create a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling device. This innovation can develop the new restoration in just 15 minutes.

The restoration is stuck to your tooth using a bonding product, and the new addition will match your natural teeth so no one will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today for additional information about same day crowns technology, and take care of those issues you might have been postponing.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a full scope of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the top aesthetic concern of the majority of patients, there are numerous methods to lighten teeth. The most popular method is using a home tooth whitening system that will bleach teeth dramatically. Because tooth bleaching just works on natural tooth enamel, it is very important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after whitening so they will match the newly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use a number of methods: custom made tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office whitening.

The tray method involves having impressions taken, which the lab fabricates into custom vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The entire procedure takes about a week of everyday use. 3 different strengths of gel may be utilized, however, the greater the strength, the higher the possibility of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray technique is recommended for badly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take a number of months of use to see considerable color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a really fast and practical whitening procedure. The visit is around one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our clients enjoy this treatment because it is so simple and fast!

Tooth whitening is not permanent. A touch-up may be needed once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays must be utilized every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
