If you have a missing tooth or teeth, you know the embarrassment and pain this can trigger. You have probably been investigating ways you can restore your smile and great bite. We think you will be extremely interested to know that at our practice, you are able to get same day crowns! It is a comfortable one-day procedure!

Our whole dental practice is state-of-the-art, except for our client care and issue which is traditional. We understand the pain missing teeth can cause clients, and therefore we are very delighted to be able to offer clients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to reinforce a tooth, and return it to its original function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the adjacent teeth, so they can not be discovered by others as being anything less than a long-term tooth. With a dental crown, you are able to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never ever be interrupted. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it exists in your mouth.

Same day crowns are a very amazing offering of our practice. We have the ability to supply you with a stunning new smile in just one day. Our office has advanced equipment that enables dentists to supply you with crowns in simply a small fraction of the time that was required previously.

CAD/CAM technology is what makes this amazing advancement possible. The acronym means computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We are able to use this technology in our system. This system is used to restore teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an additional visit to our practice, a week or two later. We're sure you have a lot more amazing things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dentist's chair any longer than you need to!

Using our new system, we scan the readied tooth in your mouth or from an impression, and after that send the details to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the specific specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. When the crown is crated, we position it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your new tooth to a gorgeous and natural-looking radiance. This innovation can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you require a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or business event, this process may undoubtedly be ideal for you. If you are interested in finding out more about this process, contact us today for an appointment.

The Topic Of The Day Will Be:

Temporal Mandibular Joint

TMJ means temporal-mandibular joint. Temporal, as in temple area of skull; mandibular as in mandible, or lower jaw; joint as in it's where the head and jaw meet. Problems in this joint might be triggered by a misalignment of the teeth, injury, or excess muscle stress. Aside from the two bones that meet there, cartilage buffers them and 5 muscles are associated with the area. If something fails a good deal of trouble can result.

Problems in this area can cause:

  • Earaches.

  • Headaches.

  • Pain in the jaw muscles.

  • Trouble in opening and closing the mouth.

  • Soreness in the area, in some cases extending to the face.

  • Clicking or popping of the jaw.

Dental treatments for the condition can consist of replacing missing teeth, moving teeth, adjusting the bite, filling gaps in between teeth, and so on. There is no one solution that is right for all cases. Often a plastic mouth piece is used to prevent clenching or grinding that is adding to the problem. If unattended and taken to extremes, surgery may be required to fix a badly damaged joint.
