Thanks to ingenious modern innovations, we are proud to introduce the ability to provide you with same day crowns - that's right, a brand-new crown in simply one visit! Here's how it works.

Step One, high resolution digital 3-D impressions are taken with a small camera, a special camera created just for this function.

Then, the brand-new software analyzes the whole image and uses the results to compute a variety of excellent restoration possibilities. Next those possibilities are assessed and fine-tuned by the dentist and the final restoration strategy is chosen.

Lastly your brand-new crown is milled by the cerec device right in our office and put in your mouth, all in one visit!

If you would like to understand more about the same day crown procedure, call our office and we would be happy to assist you.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of locations requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.

CEREC can be used for a wide scope of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

Today's Topic Will Be:

Dental Dentures

There are different types of dentures, but they share their common function. They replace teeth that have become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is big enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. Nobody enjoys losing their natural teeth, but you can still eat and talk regularly.

The whole mouth is analyzed and a determination is made about which teeth will need to be removed, and which will remain. The loose teeth are then removed. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth stay in the mouth, depending upon the type. There is an adjustment period after dentures are put in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. But once accustomed to the dentures, all the regular capability and look return and one simply carries on as usual. Often implants can be used to further stabilize the dentures.

It is very important to keep in mind that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a significant lifestyle change when as compared to natural teeth. Dentures affect the type of food you have the ability to eat, your confidence in social circumstances, as well as your self-esteem.

A Couple Reasons For Considering A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the exact same arch

  • Restore chewing ability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other procedures

An upper complete denture will almost always feel better than a lower full denture. In order to significantly improve the fit of a lower complete denture, we often recommend using dental implants as a retentive mechanism. 2 dental implants positioned in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and considerably enhance comfort. Often, the implants can even be positioned in the jaw after a denture has actually been in use for numerous years.
