We always remain on the cutting-edge for our valued patients!

What Are Single Day Dental Crowns?

It is a technology for fixing damaged teeth, and this restoration can be completed in a single appointment at our office. It makes your teeth tougher and more gorgeous - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the top-quality ceramic material and is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Throughout your appointment, you and your dentist will discuss the details of the procedure and your dental practitioner will answer any questions you may have regarding the treatment or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dentist will then apply a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a unique 3D imaging camera to take a picture of your tooth. Using the brand-new exclusive software, your restoration will be created according to your tooth's proper form and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to produce your restoration out of a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.

Today's Topic Is About:

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of a lot of patients, there are a number of methods to whiten teeth. The most popular method is utilizing a home tooth lightening system that will whiten teeth considerably. Since tooth lightening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is essential to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after whitening so they will match the recently bleached teeth.

Most dentists utilize numerous techniques: customizeded tray whitening, professional strength white strips, and in-office lightening.

The tray method involves having impressions taken, which the lab fabricates into custom vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The entire process takes about a week of daily use. Three various strengths of gel might be used, however, the higher the strength, the greater the probability of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray approach is advised for badly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take a number of months of use to see considerable color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a really fast and practical lightening process. The visit is around one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our patients like this treatment because it is so easy and quick!

Tooth whitening is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays should be utilized every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (excessive fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, and so on).
