What Are Single Day Dental Crowns?

It is a innovation for restoring broken teeth, and this restoration can be completed in a single visit to our office. It makes your teeth stronger and more lovely - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the state-of-the-art ceramic material and is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Throughout your appointment, you and your dentist will discuss the details of the procedure and your dental practitioner will answer any questions you might have concerning the procedure or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dentist will then apply a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a unique 3D imaging camera to take a picture of your tooth. Using the brand-new proprietary software, your restoration will be designed according to your tooth's proper form and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to create your restoration out of a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.

Today's Conversation Will Be About:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the primary aesthetic concern of a lot of clients, there are numerous ways to whiten teeth. The most popular technique is utilizing a home tooth whitening system that will bleach teeth significantly. Because tooth lightening just works on natural tooth enamel, it is very important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after whitening so they will match the newly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use multiple techniques: customizeded tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office whitening.

The tray method involves having impressions taken, which the laboratory produces into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole process takes about a week of day-to-day use. Three different strengths of gel might be utilized, however, the higher the strength, the greater the likelihood of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray technique is advised for severely stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take numerous months of use to see significant color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very quick and convenient lightening procedure. The visit is around one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our clients enjoy this treatment since it is so simple and quick!

Tooth bleaching is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays need to be used every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (excessive fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, and so on).
