After your ceramic crown is made, it is bonded to your tooth using cutting-edge adhesive dentistry. Done and done!

You do not need multiple trips. Just one appointments and you leave with your permanent crown! Now that ought to give you something to smile about!

The Topic Of The Day Will Be:

Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a treatment where we use a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be utilized in certain scenarios where a tooth has been broken or ended up being stained. These are generally small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively inexpensive means instead of through a more expensive dental treatment.

Here Is How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the positioning of the tooth, close spaces between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material adheres to the surface area. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to get a glossy finish as a last step.
