Same Day Crowns Near You

We are your local dental practitioner for single-visit tooth restorations. Why go to the dentist a 2nd time if you don't need to? One appointment, one shot and no impressions. Set up a visit for same day crowns in our office today. Our office is pleased to have the current technology for same day crowns.

We always remain on the cutting-edge for our valued patients!

What Are Same Day Dental Crowns?

It is a technology for restoring broken teeth, and this restoration can be completed in a single visit to our office. It makes your teeth tougher and more stunning - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the state-of-the-art ceramic material and is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Throughout your appointment, you and your dentist will discuss the details of the treatment and your dental practitioner will answer any concerns you might have regarding the treatment or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dentist will then use a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a special 3D imaging camera to take a picture of your tooth. Using the new proprietary software, your restoration will be created according to your tooth's suitable form and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to create your restoration out of a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital images of locations requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.

Today's Topic Will Be About:

Porcelain Veneers (Teeth)

Veneers are a really thin pieces of resilient, tooth shaped, porcelain that are customizeded (for shape and color) by a professional dental lab. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to produce a lovely and attractive smile.

Veneers can completely reshape your teeth and smile. They can commonly be alternatives to crowns and the ideal option in treating numerous cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

Similar to the majority of dental restorations, veneers may someday need replacement; however, they are still very durable and will last multiple years, offering you a long lasting, lovely smile.

How Are Veneers Applied?

Veneers are a dental procedure in which a covering is put over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are usually only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or smiling. The treatment can be direct or indirect.

The direct method normally involves positioning composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This method is usually referred to as bonding.

The indirect method typically involves two visits because the veneers will be produced at a dental lab. At the first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are offered a short-term covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the lab, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The lab produced veneers are typically made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are extremely esthetic.

The benefit of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the procedure is usually less unpleasant. Veneers are not recommended for teeth that have big fillings or little tooth structure.

You will get care directions for your veneers. Correct brushing, flossing and routine dental visits will help in the life of your new and gorgeous veneers.
