Why Do They Call Them Same Day Crowns?

This state-of-the-art innovation enables your dentist to take accurate images of your tooth and use those images to design, manufacture, and position a porcelain or zirconia crown in a single appointment. Same day crowns provide exceptional convenience, value, and accuracy to our clients.

How Does The Same Day Crown Technology Work?

The same day crown procedure consists of 3 fundamental steps. 1st, your dentist uses 3D imaging to take extremely accurate images of your tooth and the surrounding structures. Next, they then download these images into a computer and, using computer-assisted design software, develops your custom-fitted crown. Third, your dental practitioner will send the design to their in-office precision milling device which creates the crown from a block of dental porcelain or zirconia. Once they stain and glaze the crown for extra strength and esthetics, your dental practitioner will put it on your tooth.

Exactly What Are The Benefits Of Same Day Crowns?

We only use dental porcelain and zirconia to create our same day crowns. These metal-free restorations provide unparalleled strength, resilience, chip and stain resistance, and natural charm.

Precision-fitted same day crowns need less tooth preparation and protect more of your tooth structure.

Standard crowns need two office appointments. With same day crowns, you can come to our dentist's office for a visit and leave with a wonderfully restored tooth.

You can prevent the inconvenience and potential risks related to ill-fitting short-term crowns.

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of areas needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. Today We Will Be Talking About:

Dentures (Dental)

There are different kinds of dentures, but they share their common function. They replace teeth that have become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is big enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. No one enjoys losing their natural teeth, but you can still eat and talk regularly.

The whole mouth is analyzed and a decision is made as to which teeth will have to be removed, and which will remain. The loose teeth are then removed. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth stay in the mouth, depending upon the type. There is an adjustment time after dentures are placed in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. Once accustomed to the dentures, all the normal performance and look return and one simply continues as usual. Typically implants can be used to further support the dentures.

It is necessary to note that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a major lifestyle change when compared to natural teeth. Dentures impact the type of food you have the ability to eat, your self-confidence in social circumstances, as well as your self-esteem.

Reasons For Getting A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the exact same arch

  • Restore chewing capability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other treatments

An upper complete denture will usually feel better than a lower complete denture. In order to dramatically improve the fit of a lower complete denture, we frequently suggest utilizing dental implants as a retentive mechanism. Two dental implants positioned in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and considerably improve comfort. Often, the implants can even be positioned in the jaw after a denture has actually been in use for multiple years.
