If you have a missing tooth or teeth, you know the humiliation and discomfort this can cause. You have probably been investigating methods you can restore your smile and great bite. We believe you will be extremely interested to know that at our practice, you have the ability to get same day crowns! It is a comfortable one-day procedure!

Our whole dental practice is advanced, except for our patient care and concern which is traditional. We know the pain missing teeth can cause patients, and for that reason we are extremely happy to be able to supply clients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to enhance a tooth, and return it to its initial function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the surrounding teeth, so they can not be detected by others as being anything less than a long-term tooth. With a dental crown, you have the ability to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never be interfered with. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it is there in your mouth.

Same day crowns are a really interesting offering of our practice. We are able to offer you with a lovely new smile in just one day. Our office has advanced equipment that allows dentists to provide you with crowns in just a small fraction of the time that was needed previously.

CAD/CAM technology is exactly what makes this amazing advancement possible. The acronym means computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We are able to use this technology in our system. This system is used to fix teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an additional visit to our practice, a week or so later. We're sure you have far more interesting things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dental practitioner's chair any longer than you need to!

Using our brand-new system, we scan the readied tooth in your mouth or from an impression, then send the info to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the exact specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. As soon as the crown is crated, we position it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your brand-new tooth to a gorgeous and natural-looking radiance. This innovation can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you require a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or company event, this process may indeed be ideal for you. If you have an interest in finding out more about this procedure, call us today for a consultation.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

Today's Topic Is About:

Tooth Veneers (Porcelain)

Veneers are a really thin pieces of long lasting, tooth shaped, porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental lab. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to produce a stunning and appealing smile.

Veneers can entirely reshape your teeth and smile. They can commonly be alternatives to crowns and the ideal solution in treating numerous cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

As with a lot of dental restorations, veneers might one day require replacement; however, they are still very resilient and will last multiple years, providing you a long lasting, lovely smile.

How Are Veneers Applied?

Veneers are a dental procedure where a covering is positioned over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are usually only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or grinning. The treatment can be direct or indirect.

The direct method typically involves putting composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This technique is typically referred to as bonding.

The indirect strategy normally involves two visits because the veneers will be made at a dental laboratory. At the first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are offered a temporary covering. In 2 to 3 weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The lab fabricated veneers are usually made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are very esthetic.

The benefit of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the treatment is typically less uncomfortable. Veneers are not recommended for teeth that have huge fillings or little tooth structure.

You will get care guidelines for your veneers. Correct brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will help in the life of your brand-new and stunning veneers.
