Thanks to ingenious modern technologies, we are proud to introduce the capability to supply you with same day crowns - that's right, a brand-new crown in just one appointment! Here's how it works.

First, high resolution digital 3-D impressions are taken with a small camera, a unique camera built just for this function.

Then, the brand-new software assesses the entire image and uses the results to determine a number of excellent restoration possibilities. Next those possibilities are evaluated and improved by the dentist and the last restoration strategy is chosen.

Lastly your new crown is milled by the cerec device right in our office and put in your mouth, all in one visit!

If you want to know more about the same day crown treatment, call our office and we would be happy to assist you.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of areas requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to produce your crown.

CEREC can be used in a wide scope of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

The Conversation For Today Will Be:

Porcelain Tooth Veneers

Veneers are a very thin pieces of long lasting, tooth shaped, porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental lab. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a beautiful and attractive smile.

Veneers can entirely reshape your teeth and smile. They can commonly be alternatives to crowns and the ideal option in treating numerous cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

As with most dental restorations, veneers might at some point need replacement; however, they are still extremely resilient and will last many years, providing you a long lasting, stunning smile.

How Are Veneers Placed?

Veneers are a dental treatment where a covering is placed over the outside (noticeable area) of the tooth. Veneers are generally only done to the part of the teeth that are seen when talking or smiling. The treatment can be direct or indirect.

The direct method generally involves placing composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This approach is normally referred to as bonding.

The indirect strategy usually involves two visits because the veneers will be produced at a dental lab. At the very first appointment the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are given a short-term covering. In 2 to 3 weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The lab made veneers are typically made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are really esthetic.

The benefit of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the treatment is generally less uncomfortable. Veneers are not advised for teeth that have large fillings or little tooth structure.

You will get care guidelines for your veneers. Proper brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will help in the life of your brand-new and stunning veneers.
