If you have a missing tooth or teeth, you know the humiliation and discomfort this can cause. You have most likely been investigating methods you can restore your smile and excellent bite. We think you will be very interested to know that at our practice, you have the ability to get same day crowns! It is a comfortable one-day treatment!

Our entire dental practice is state-of-the-art, except for our client care and concern which is traditional. We understand the discomfort missing teeth can cause patients, and because of that we are really happy to be able to provide clients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to reinforce a tooth, and return it to its original function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the surrounding teeth, so they can not be discovered by others as being anything less than a permanent tooth. With a dental crown, you have the ability to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never ever be interfered with. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it is there in your mouth.

Same day crowns are an extremely exciting offering of our practice. We have the ability to supply you with a lovely new smile in just one day. Our office has cutting edge devices that permits dentists to supply you with crowns in simply a little portion of the time that was needed before.

CAD/CAM technology is what makes this amazing advancement possible. The acronym means computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We have the ability to use this innovation in our system. This system is used to fix teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an additional appointment to our practice, a week or so later. We're sure you have far more exciting things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dentist's chair any longer than you have to!

Using our brand-new system, we scan the readied tooth in your mouth or from an impression, then send out the information to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the exact specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. When the crown is crated, we place it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your brand-new tooth to a stunning and natural-looking luster. This technology can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you require a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or business event, this procedure might undoubtedly be ideal for you. If you are interested in learning more about this process, call us today for a consultation.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to produce your crown.

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a metal device created to replace missing teeth. The device is generally constructed out of titanium and is surgically placed into the jawbone where the teeth are missing. An implant is permanent, unlike a dental bridge.

Crowns and conventional bridges or dentures might not be your only options when replacing missing teeth. For some individuals, dental implants offer a smile that looks extremely natural. Surgically positioned below the gums over a series of appointments, implants fuse to the jawbone and work as a base for bridges or a denture, individual replacement teeth.

Implants offer stability since they connect to your bone, a process called osseointegration. Integration of these implants into your jaw also helps your replacement teeth feel more natural and some individuals also discover the secure fit is more comfortable than traditional replacements. Candidates for dental implants need to have healthy gums and adequate bone to support the implant.

What's Involved In Getting A Dental Implant?

A dental implant may be an option to replace a missing tooth. In this procedure, a little titanium shaft is surgically {placed|implanted into the bone and allowed to set. The bone grows around it forming a tight connection, which in addition slows or stops the bone loss that happens when the root of a natural tooth is missing. As soon as the implant is firmly set in the mouth, the dentist then works to connect the replacement tooth onto the top of the shaft. This permanent solution has the advantages over bridge work that it does not need the surrounding teeth for support, and, should the tooth wear out, another can merely be replaced on the shaft.

Implants can also be used as support as part of an implant bridge. This is an alternative to partial dentures, and has multiple advantages. First, there is no adjustment period to acclimatize the client who, as soon as the work is done, only feels teeth, not metal supports intruding into the mouth. Second, this slows the bone loss occasioned by missing teeth. Third, there is no pain or trouble in eating. And, best of all, of course, they don't need to be taken out all the time.
