Same Day Crowns At Your Local Family Dentist

Same Day Crowns technology has actually changed how dental procedures will be done forever. If crowns, onlays, inlays or dental veneers were needed to restore damaged teeth, it used to indicate numerous appointments, a lot of hassle, and frequently a lot of money.

This brand-new technology makes these ceramic restorations within minutes in the dental office. It is made of numerous computer-assisted design (CAD) tools and a milling machine that develops customized ceramic restorative devices. It also can make virtually any ceramic restoration to order, indicating the dental practitioner can position it right away. This is of great benefit to a anxious client, and it can also minimize the cost of treatment.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.

CEREC can be used in a wide scope of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

Today's Topic Will Be:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Detecting problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, costly procedures or surgeries. X-rays are primarily utilized to identify:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.

Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the doctor to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a huge format for easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also enables us to send and get your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
