When you do not have enough hours in the day our new same day crown innovation allows for single visit restorations. Fillings, crowns or veneers - with same day crowns, there's no requirement for a short-term and return visits. The entire treatment is done in one visit - leaving more time for whatever's important to you.

Technology today is changing our everyday lives. Many people, however, aren't aware that innovation also is impacting dentistry in new and exciting methods. Advanced developments in dental instruments are needing less time in the dental chair, causing less discomfort and producing satisfying outcomes. One breakthrough in innovation, allows dental practitioners to rapidly restore broken teeth with natural-colored ceramic fillings, saving clients time and inconvenience.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used in a broad scope of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

Today's Topic Is:

Ultra-Sonic Tooth Cleaning

We use ultrasonic scalers for many adult dental cleanings. These devices use ultrasonic vibrations to help breakdown the plaque and calculus on the teeth that trigger gingivitis and periodontal disease. The ultrasonic cleaners develop microscopic bubbles that implode on the surface of the tooth, killing microorganisms and getting rid of plaque and tartar at the same time. Our instruments use a thin tip to better navigate in the periodontal pockets to help maintain optimal gingival health.

  • The treatment only uses water, no chemicals are used.

  • It can remove tartar buildup in hard-to-reach locations, without any damage to the tooth enamel.

  • Manual scaling typically uses pressure for cleaning, while the vibration produced by the scaling tip of an ultrasonic scaler is barely noticeable. This makes ultrasonic cleaning ideal to those with vulnerable teeth.

  • The cleaning procedure is quicker than manual scaling making your visit more comfy.

After your teeth have actually been cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner, your teeth will be hand scaled to look for any residual deposits and after that polished.
