Why Opt For Same Day Crowns?

There are lots of advantages of using same day crown over traditional crown innovation.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one visit, saving you substantial time away from your job and family.

  • Convenience: With same day crowns, there is no requirement for a short-term crown, eliminating substantial possible pain.

  • Aesthetics: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic products of same day crowns restore your teeth to their natural strength, beauty, and function, and closely match the composition of your natural tooth structure.

  • Strength: Milled ceramic is stronger than the traditional approach of layering and pressing, so your smile will remain beautiful for many years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown material and technology can also be used for fillings. Given that these fillings are made out of porcelain, they are longer lasting than white composite fillings.

The Conversation Of The Day Is:

Teeth Veneers (Porcelain)

Veneers are a very thin pieces of durable, tooth shaped, porcelain that are customizeded (for shape and color) by a professional dental laboratory. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a lovely and attractive smile.

Veneers can completely reshape your teeth and smile. They can often be alternatives to crowns and the ideal option in treating numerous cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

Just like a lot of dental restorations, veneers might at some point need replacement; however, they are still extremely durable and will last years, providing you a long lasting, beautiful smile.

How Are Veneers Placed?

Veneers are a dental procedure in which a covering is positioned over the outside (noticeable area) of the tooth. Veneers are typically only done to the part of the teeth that are seen when talking or smiling. The procedure can be direct or indirect.

The direct technique typically involves positioning composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This approach is generally referred to as bonding.

The indirect technique usually involves two visits because the veneers will be produced at a dental lab. At the very first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are provided a short-term covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the lab, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The lab produced veneers are normally made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are very esthetic.

The benefit of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the treatment is usually less unpleasant. Veneers are not recommended for teeth that have large fillings or little tooth structure.

You will receive care instructions for your veneers. Appropriate brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will aid in the life of your brand-new and beautiful veneers.
