Obtain A Perfect Smile With Same Day Crowns

Same Day Crowns resolve visual requirements, restore tooth function, and improve the general health of your mouth. In cases where teeth have large broken down fillings, a crown can secure and preserve the rest of the natural tooth.

To enhance your smile, a metal-free, tooth-colored same day crown can also take place of an older metal or porcelain crown. Following root canal therapy, a crown is typically placed over the remaining tooth structure to preserve aesthetic and tooth function.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used for a broad scope of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

The Conversation Of The Day Is:

Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a treatment in which we use a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be utilized in specific situations where a tooth has been damaged or become stained. These are normally small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively inexpensive means instead of through a more costly dental procedure.

How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the positioning of the tooth, close spaces between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is placed on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to get a shiny finish as a last step.
