Temporary crowns and second visits for crowns are now typically unnecessary thanks to the same day crown innovation. We offer this exciting one-visit crown technology in our office, adding greater convenience to the procedure of getting a crown. The waiting time in between your procedure and when you get your permanent crown is eliminated.

The same day crown technology is an instrument that enables ceramic restorations (veneers, inlays, onlays, and crowns) to be performed in one check-up instead of 2. The computer collaborates with a wireless digital camera permitting the dentist to make digital impressions without the annoyance of bulky impression material.

After taking the picture the computer takes over and mills your custom-made crown immediately so that we can cement your brand-new crown that same day. The outcomes we see are remarkable. With the same day crowns, the strength, aesthetics, and fit of the ceramic restorations are excellent.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a full range of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

Today We Will Be Discussing:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure where we apply a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be used in certain circumstances where a tooth has been damaged or become stained. These are generally minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this reasonably inexpensive methods instead of through a more costly dental treatment.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to alter the positioning of the tooth, close gaps in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to obtain a lustrous finish as a last step.
