Single Visit Crowns Near You

Needing any sort of dental work finished can seem like a chore, however it is essential to follow up on when it comes to maintaining your oral health. Some individuals may avoid visiting their dental practitioner or having particular dental treatments finished simply because they think that the ordeal might take up too much of their time. When it comes to same day dental crowns that is just not the case, as we can provide our patients with same day dental crowns should they need it.

Even though dental crowns are considered in addition to other procedures that fall under the cosmetic dentistry category, they can help to significantly improve anybody's oral health. Dental crowns are primarily used to restore the size, shape, and function of a tooth. Most commonly, dental crowns are used following a root canal therapy procedure where a part of the tooth mass is eliminated in order to get rid of decayed portions of the tooth. A dental crown is then used to help restore exactly what parts of the tooth were lost so that it can work as it once did, fixing the oral well being of the patient.

Sometimes, dental crowns take time to process and are crafted in a laboratory while the client wears a temporary crown in its stead. Now we can provide clients with same day dental crowns! Instead of having to visit us several times prior to restoring your tooth, we can provide you with a crown the same day that you come in to get one fitted.

If you need a dental crown, you will not need to wait and arrange several appointments. Our staff and dentists will provide you with all of the services that you require in a single visit to work around your busy schedule. Do not let your dental health go forgotten due to the fact that you do not have the time. If you want to learn more about same day dental crowns, call us and arrange an appointment today.

Today's Conversation Will Be About:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the primary aesthetic concern of many clients, there are a number of methods to whiten teeth. The most popular technique is using a home tooth bleaching system that will lighten teeth dramatically. Because tooth lightening just works on natural tooth enamel, it is necessary to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after whitening so they will match the newly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use numerous approaches: custom made tray whitening, professional strength white strips, and in-office whitening.

The tray technique involves having impressions taken, which the lab makes into custom vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole procedure takes about a week of everyday use. 3 different strengths of gel might be used, however, the greater the strength, the greater the probability of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray technique is suggested for terribly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take multiple months of use to see considerable color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a extremely fast and practical whitening process. The visit is approximately one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our patients love this treatment because it is so easy and fast!

Tooth lightening is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays need to be utilized every couple of months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
