We always remain on the cutting-edge for our valued clients!

What Are Same Day Dental Crowns?

It is a technology for fixing broken teeth, and this restoration can be completed in a single appointment at our office. It makes your teeth tougher and more gorgeous - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the high-grade ceramic material and is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

During your appointment, you and your dental practitioner will discuss the details of the treatment and your dental practitioner will address any questions you might have concerning the procedure or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dentist will then apply a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a special 3D imaging camera to take a picture of your tooth. Using the new exclusive software, your restoration will be designed according to your tooth's proper shape and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to develop your restoration from a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.

Today's Topic Has To Do With:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the top aesthetic concern of the majority of clients, there are numerous methods to bleach teeth. The most popular method is utilizing a home tooth bleaching system that will whiten teeth significantly. Since tooth whitening just works on natural tooth enamel, it is essential to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after lightening so they will match the newly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use multiple methods: custom made tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office bleaching.

The tray method involves having impressions taken, which the laboratory makes into custom-made vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The entire process takes about a week of daily use. 3 different strengths of gel might be used, however, the greater the strength, the higher the possibility of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray approach is advised for severely stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take a number of months of use to see substantial color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very quick and convenient bleaching process. The visit is around one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our clients enjoy this treatment because it is so simple and fast!

Tooth lightening is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays must be utilized every couple of months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, and so on).
