Single Day Crowns And Teeth Restorations

Do you need to get a dental crown? Or will you quickly be requiring a dental treatment that will cause you to need a dental crown? If so, you may be beginning to dread the time you will need to invest at the dental practitioner's office. At our dental practice, we provide a excellent time-saving solution for you. We offer same day crowns at our practice!

At our practice we are proud to have professional and highly-trained dental practitioners on staff. At our dental practice we include advanced technology and procedures to offer our clients with the very best restorative, precautionary, implant, and cosmetic dentistry care. For patients who need to get dental crowns, we are very happy to be able to offer same day crowns.

Crowns and caps are 2 various names for the same thing. A dental crown is a restoration that is generally made from porcelain. It is a strong structure that is used to cover a tooth on all four sides to help reinforce the tooth and improve its function.

Crowns can also be used to connect bridges, as the top portion of a dental implant, or to prevent a damaged tooth from ending up being weaker. Crowns can also be used to reinforce a tooth after a root canal treatment.

Crowns are also used for purely aesthetic reasons, such as to cover a severely tarnished tooth that has to be restored to its initial, appealing appearance.

Usually getting a dental crown is a prolonged treatment. The dentist will need to take impressions, provide you with a short-term crown, wait for the crown to be returned from a lab, then have you go back to the office so that it can be permanently attached. Today at our practice clients can get same day crowns in about two hours.

Our same day crowns are developed in our office thanks to our CAD-CAM technology.

CAD-CAM means "computer-aided-design-computer-aided-manufacture." Computers are used to take photos which are then computer-analyzed and used to create a crown.

This crown is really milled by a computer in our office. The crown will fit your mouth exactly and remove any need to send impressions or photos to an outside laboratory.

All this is done while you wait, removing the need to come back for a second appointment.

You also will not have to get a crown, because our permanent crown will be instantly offered to you.

If you want to meet our dental practitioner for more information about same day crowns or to obtain a same day crown, contact our office.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. The Conversation Of The Day Will Be:

Ultra Sonic Teeth Cleaning

We use ultrasonic scalers for many adult dental cleanings. These devices utilize ultrasonic vibrations to help breakdown the plaque and calculus on the teeth that cause gingivitis and periodontal disease. The ultrasonic cleaners create microscopic bubbles that implode on the surface of the tooth, eliminating microorganisms and eliminating plaque and tartar at the same time. Our instruments use a thin tip to better navigate in the gum pockets to help preserve optimal gingival health.

  • The treatment only uses water, no chemicals are used.

  • It can eliminate tartar buildup in hard-to-reach locations, with no damage to the tooth enamel.

  • Manual scaling commonly uses pressure for cleaning, while the vibration produced by the scaling tip of an ultrasonic scaler is hardly noticeable. This makes ultrasonic cleaning ideal to those with sensitive teeth.

  • The cleaning procedure is faster than manual scaling making your visit more comfortable.

After your teeth have been cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner, your teeth will be hand scaled to look for any residual deposits and then polished.
