Same day crowns are an sophisticated dental technology that is utilized for the restoration of decayed, cracked, or cracked teeth. This innovation can produce complete crowns, onlays, inlays, and veneers. The same day crown device crafts a restoration in a matter of minutes.

Same day crown restorations are made from compressed porcelain. It is for this reason that they are stronger than lab restorations, which are layered porcelain. The most useful feature of getting a same day crown restoration is that it is achieved in one appointment. In addition to the advantage of a one visit restoration, there is no uncomfortable impression material to bite on or a short-term crown to wear.

The procedure for placement of a same day crown restoration is very basic. The initial step is to get rid of all degeneration from the tooth. The dentist will then form the tooth in preparation to take a digital picture. The tooth is then sprayed with a really fine powder. This allows the digital camera to take an acceptable image. When this image is captured, the tooth will appear on a computer screen in 3D. This will allow the dentist to create the restoration right in front of you.

When the design is completed, the same day crown machine will mill the restoration. This step takes roughly 15 minutes. You can actually view this process if you would like. When the restoration is completed milling, the dental practitioner will position the restoration on your tooth.

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the top aesthetic concern of most patients, there are multiple methods to bleach teeth. The most popular technique is using a home tooth bleaching system that will whiten teeth significantly. Because tooth lightening just works on natural tooth enamel, it is necessary to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after bleaching so they will match the recently bleached teeth.

Most dentists use multiple methods: customizeded tray bleaching, professional strength white strips, and in-office lightening.

The tray technique involves having impressions taken, which the lab produces into custom-made vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The entire procedure takes about a week of daily use. Three different strengths of gel may be used, however, the higher the strength, the greater the possibility of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray approach is recommended for terribly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take multiple months of use to see considerable color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a extremely quick and convenient bleaching procedure. The appointment is around one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our clients love this treatment because it is so simple and quick!

Tooth lightening is not permanent. A touch-up may be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays must be utilized every couple of months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (excessive fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, and so on).
