What occurs when a tooth becomes badly decayed or broken? It has to be capped with a crown; otherwise, you may need to fix it later.

Fixing your tooth with a crown now will not just help you to restore your smile's functionality, it will also help you to protect|safeguard|secure} the root beneath.

Maintaining both is very important to having a healthy smile
In the past, using a traditional crown to fix a tooth and protect the root underneath took a minimum of 2 visits to the dental practitioner.

At the first appointment, the dental practitioner would prepare the tooth then take an impression, which would be sent to a dental laboratory. While the lab fabricated the long-term crown, the client would wear a temporary crown to safeguard the tooth.

When the long-term crown arrived back in the dentist's office, the patient would return to have the crown sealed or adhesively bonded into place.

The Discussion For Today Will Be:

UltraSonic Cleanings

We use ultrasonic scalers for the majority of adult dental cleanings. These devices use ultrasonic vibrations to help breakdown the plaque and calculus on the teeth that trigger gingivitis and gum disease. The ultrasonic cleaners create microscopic bubbles that implode on the surface of the tooth, killing microorganisms and getting rid of plaque and tartar in the process. Our instruments use a thin tip to better navigate in the periodontal pockets to help maintain optimal gingival health.

  • The treatment only uses water, no chemicals are used.

  • It can remove tartar buildup in hard-to-reach locations, with no damage to the tooth enamel.

  • Manual scaling frequently uses pressure for cleaning, while the vibration produced by the scaling tip of an ultrasonic scaler is hardly perceptible. This makes ultrasonic cleaning suitable to those with delicate teeth.

  • The cleaning process is quicker than manual scaling making your visit more comfy.

After your teeth have been cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner, your teeth will be hand scaled to look for any residual deposits and then polished.
