One-Visit Crowns

Crowns have long been an effective restorative dentistry solution for dentists to benefit from, but the traditional crown procedure takes 2 to 3 visits to complete.

At our practice, though, our dentists and our team can fix broken down teeth in just a single visit with same-day crowns. Same day crowns use innovative technology to make the crown preparation procedure simpler, while the same day crown device actually mills restorations itself using the details we've already collected to create the customized restoration you need.

The milling procedure takes about an hour to complete and can be done while you rest comfortably in our office.

Our restorative dentistry team prepared to rejuvenate your smile and better your lifestyle. Using any of these restorative dentistry services alone or in combination with each other or another service, we are ready to help you to achieve optimum dental health. Please make an appointment to our office today.

Today We Will Be Talking About:

Teeth Veneers (Porcelain)

Veneers are a very thin pieces of resilient, tooth shaped, porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental lab. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to produce a gorgeous and attractive smile.

Veneers can entirely improve your teeth and smile. They can typically be alternatives to crowns and the ideal option in treating numerous cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

As with the majority of dental restorations, veneers might one day require replacement; however, they are still very durable and will last multiple years, giving you a long lasting, stunning smile.

How Are Veneers Applied?

Veneers are a dental treatment in which a covering is placed over the outside (noticeable area) of the tooth. Veneers are normally only done to the part of the teeth that are seen when talking or smiling. The treatment can be direct or indirect.

The direct technique usually involves putting composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This method is normally referred to as bonding.

The indirect technique normally involves two visits because the veneers will be produced at a dental laboratory. At the first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are given a short-term covering. In 2 to 3 weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The laboratory fabricated veneers are usually made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are extremely esthetic.

The benefit of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is eliminated, and the treatment is typically less uncomfortable. Veneers are not advised for teeth that have huge fillings or little tooth structure.

You will receive care guidelines for your veneers. Correct brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will aid in the life of your new and stunning veneers.
