Needing any sort of dental work finished can seem like a chore, however it is essential to follow up on when it comes to maintaining your oral health. Some people might avoid visiting their dental practitioner or having certain dental treatments completed simply because they believe that the experience might use up too much of their time. When it comes to same day dental crowns that is simply not the case, as we can offer our patients with same day dental crowns should they need it.

Even though dental crowns are considered along with other treatments that fall under the cosmetic dentistry category, they can help to greatly enhance anybody's oral health. Dental crowns are primarily used to fix the size, shape, and function of a tooth. Most frequently, dental crowns are used following a root canal therapy treatment where a part of the tooth mass is removed in order to get rid of decayed portions of the tooth. A dental crown is then used to help restore what parts of the tooth were lost so that it can function as it once did, fixing the oral well being of the patient.

Sometimes, dental crowns require time to process and are crafted in a lab while the client uses a temporary crown in its stead. Now we can offer patients with same day dental crowns! Instead of needing to visit us a number of times prior to restoring your tooth, we can offer you with a crown the same day that you come in to get one fitted.

If you need a dental crown, you will not have to wait and arrange numerous appointments. Our staff and dentists will supply you with all of the services that you require in a single visit to work around your busy schedule. Do not let your dental health go forgotten because you don't have the time. If you would like to learn more about same day dental crowns, call us and arrange an appointment today.

Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a procedure in which we use a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be utilized in specific situations where a tooth has been damaged or ended up being stained. These are typically small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this reasonably affordable methods instead of through a more expensive dental procedure.

Here Is How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the positioning of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is put on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to obtain a glossy finish as a last step.
