Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns implied coming into the dental practitioner's office at least 2 times. The very first check-up included getting an impression of your tooth and a short-term crown. Then, a couple of weeks later, a second visit allowed for the short-term crown to be eliminated and a brand-new permanent crown to be placed on your tooth. We use the latest innovation making dental work more convenient for you and your day to day schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a state-of-the-art same day crown technology to develop ceramic onlays and crowns that fit perfectly, in just one check-up with a little camera to create a 3D picture of the tooth that needs to be repaired. This means a physical mold, which is undesirable and time consuming, is no longer necessary.

Using CAD/CAM software, We develop a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling device. This technology can create the new restoration in just 15 minutes.

The restoration is stuck to your tooth using a bonding material, and the brand-new addition will match your natural teeth so nobody will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today to learn more about same day crowns technology, and take care of those problems you might have been postponing.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of locations requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a wide range of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

Today Were Talking About:

Root Canal

Root canal treatment (also described as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy) is essential when a cavity is allowed, through neglect, to reach all the way to the root pulp. (Regular cleanings and checkups prevent and identify problems early). Sometimes deep restorations or trauma to a tooth may also cause the nerve to be damaged to the point it requires root canal therapy. When this happens, the pulp becomes infected, and can even extend through the root tip and begin to eat away at the surrounding bone (this is an abscess).

By the time the pulp is infected it needs to be treated, and can not heal by itself. It can even deteriorate the entire immune system. This is dangerous, and may be extremely unpleasant. Signs that the pulp has become infected may consist of sensitivity to hot/cold or sugary foods, discomfort, swelling, pain to biting or pressure, and a bad taste in the mouth. Sometimes, however, no signs are apparent and the person is unaware of any problem until a checkup.

A root canal is then carried out to clean out the infected tooth pulp, and decontaminate the canals of the tooth. The only other treatment would be to remove the tooth. When the infection is dealt with, the canal(s) are filled in to prevent any more infection. Usually a core build-up and crown is suggested for recovering a tooth that has had root canal therapy.
