Same Day Crowns At A Family Dentist Near You

Same Day Crowns technology has actually changed how dental treatments will be done forever. If crowns, onlays, inlays or dental veneers were required to fix broken teeth, it used to mean multiple appointments, a lot of hassle, and often a great deal of money.

This brand-new innovation makes these ceramic restorations within minutes in the dental office. It is comprised of a number of computer-assisted design (CAD) tools and a milling machine that creates custom-made ceramic restorative devices. It also can make nearly any ceramic restoration to order, indicating the dentist can put it immediately. This is of fantastic benefit to a worried client, and it can also minimize the cost of treatment.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. Today Were Talking About:

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the primary aesthetic concern of most clients, there are numerous methods to lighten teeth. The most popular method is using a home tooth whitening system that will lighten teeth considerably. Because tooth whitening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is necessary to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after bleaching so they will match the recently bleached teeth.

Most dentists utilize multiple methods: custom made tray bleaching, professional strength white strips, and in-office lightening.

The tray technique involves having impressions taken, which the laboratory fabricates into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole process takes about a week of daily use. Three different strengths of gel might be used, however, the greater the strength, the higher the possibility of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray technique is recommended for severely stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take a number of months of use to see significant color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very quick and convenient lightening process. The visit is approximately one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our patients like this treatment due to the fact that it is so simple and fast!

Tooth bleaching is not permanent. A touch-up may be needed once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays must be utilized every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of outer tooth layer.

  • Florousis (excessive fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, and so on).
