How Can Same Day Crowns Benefit Me?

With this new technology it enables dentists to custom-craft restorations in as little as one hour. With this, we can produce natural looking crowns, onlays, inlays, and veneers right here in our office while you unwind. Now, there is no longer a need to make numerous trips to the dental practitioner's office to be measured and fitted with temporary restorations - you can take pleasure in a brilliant, natural looking, and resilient solution for your missing or damaged teeth today.

Initially, your dentist will consult with you to talk about the information of the treatment. During the procedure, the dentist will put a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a special camera to take an image of your tooth.

Using the new software, the image serves as a map to develop your tooth's restoration. Then, it will use a diamond bur and disk-work to develop your restoration piece from ceramic.

Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.

It makes your teeth stronger and more beautiful - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the top-quality ceramic material works with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of locations needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used in a wide range of indications: inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns and veneers.

The Conversation Of The Day Will Be:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Finding problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, costly treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mainly used to discover:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Big on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The instant observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.

Digital radiography has greatly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the patient and the physician to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a big format for easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation direct exposure to the client. The process we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent establishing and mounting x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also allows us to send out and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you quickly.
