Get A Perfect Smile With Same Day Crowns

Same Day Crowns attend to visual needs, fix tooth function, and enhance the general health of your mouth. In cases where teeth have huge broken down fillings, a crown can secure and preserve the remaining natural tooth.

To boost your smile, a metal-free, tooth-colored same day crown can also take place of an older metal or porcelain crown. Following root canal therapy, a crown is typically positioned over the remaining tooth structure to preserve visual and tooth function.

Today We Will Be Discussing:

Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a treatment in which we use a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in certain scenarios where a tooth has actually been damaged or become stained. These are generally minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this reasonably inexpensive methods instead of through a more costly dental treatment.

How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the positioning of the tooth, close spaces in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material adheres to the surface area. Then the material itself is put on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to get a shiny finish as a last step.
