Why Do They Call Them Same Day Crowns?

This cutting edge innovation enables your dental practitioner to take precise pictures of your tooth and use those images to design, manufacture, and put a porcelain or zirconia crown in a single visit. Same day crowns offer unparalleled convenience, value, and precision to our clients.

How Does The Same Day Crown Technology Work?

The same day crown procedure includes three fundamental steps. First, your dental practitioner uses 3D imaging to take highly accurate pictures of your tooth and the surrounding structures. Next, they then download these images into a computer and, using computer-assisted design software, designs your custom-fitted crown. 3rd, your dental practitioner will send out the design to their in-office precision milling device which creates the crown from a block of dental porcelain or zirconia. Once they stain and glaze the crown for added strength and esthetics, your dentist will position it on your tooth.

What Are The Advantages Of Same Day Crowns?

We just use dental porcelain and zirconia to develop our same day crowns. These metal-free restorations provide unparalleled strength, resilience, chip and stain resistance, and natural beauty.

Precision-fitted same day crowns require less tooth prep work and preserve more of your tooth structure.

Traditional crowns require two office appointments. With same day crowns, you can come to our dentist's office for a visit and leave with a magnificently fixed tooth.

You can avoid the trouble and possible threats connected with uncomfortable temporary crowns.

Today's Conversation Has To Do With:

Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a treatment in which we apply a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in certain circumstances where a tooth has actually been damaged or become stained. These are generally small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively affordable methods rather than through a more expensive dental treatment.

How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the alignment of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material adheres to the surface area. Then the material itself is placed on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to get a shiny finish as a last step.
