Below are some of the advantages of same day crown technology, which crafts excellent same day dental crowns and same day inlays and onlays.

Without a doubt the best benefit of same day crown dental restoration technology is the time you'll save. Traditionally, getting a dental restoration will involve two separate visits to your dental practitioner's office that are weeks apart. Numerous visits} are required because the final dental restoration needs to be crafted at an off-site dental laboratory. With same day crown innovation, dental restorations are crafted in-office. There's no need to get numerous days off work or rearrange your schedule. One appointment is all you'll need.

They Are Custom-Made For You

The same day crown device uses the current technology to produce a digital impression of your teeth. Using this 3 dimensional digital design, this device then develops a custom-made restoration that fits effortlessly with the broken tooth and your nearby teeth.

They Are Long Lasting

Even though same day crown restorations are crafted and produced on-site, the restorations themselves are extremely long lasting. In fact, the restorations that are crafted by these devices are roughly three times as strong as the dental restorations that are crafted at a dental lab.

They Look Natural

In addition to their strength and sturdiness, same day crown dental restorations blend in perfectly with your smile. The inlays and onlays from the same day crown machine have a sort of chameleon effect. When in place, they take on the color and unique shadings of the fixed tooth, meaning that your smile will look excellent and, more importantly, look natural.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

The Topic Of The Day Will Be:

Root Canal (Endodontic Treatment)

Root canal treatment (also referred to as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy) is required when a cavity is allowed, through neglect, to reach all the way to the root pulp. (Regular cleanings and checkups prevent and identify problems early). Sometimes deep restorations or trauma to a tooth may also cause the nerve to be damaged to the point it requires root canal therapy. When this happens, the pulp ends up being infected, and can even extend through the root tip and start to eat away at the surrounding bone (this is an abscess).

By the time the pulp is infected it has to be treated, and can not recover by itself. It can even damage the whole immune system. This is dangerous, and may be very uncomfortable. Symptoms that the pulp has actually become infected may consist of sensitivity to hot/cold or sugary foods, pain, swelling, pain to biting or pressure, and a bad taste in the mouth. Often, however, no signs appear and the individual is unaware of any problem until a checkup.

A root canal is then performed to clean out the infected tooth pulp, and disinfect the canals of the tooth. The only other treatment would be to remove the tooth. Once the infection is resolved, the canal(s) are filled in to prevent any further infection. Generally a core build-up and crown is suggested for recovering a tooth that has had root canal treatment.
