Our practice likes new innovations, specifically when it enhances the dental care that we can provide to our clients. Because of this we now offer same day crowns.

Same day crowns are a fantastic brand-new technology where gorgeous all porcelain crowns are produced within 2 hours of the preparation of a tooth for a crown. The old procedure was where the dental practitioner prepared your tooth for a crown, took an impression and sent this impression to a laboratory to get the crown constructed. Throughout this time the patient would need to wear a temporary plastic crown that was always uncomfy.

Today, our devices allows us to scan the tooth preparation and mill out a brand-new all porcelain crown within two hours. This means that the patient leaves our office with the permanent crown that day!

  • There is no need to have a short-term crown for 2 or 3 weeks.

  • There's no need to return once again to have the single visit crown placed on your tooth.

  • There is no need to be numbed once more! No more shots!

Our office prefers same day crowns due to the fact that it is made of beautiful material and also extremely durable.

If your interested in a same day crown, please give our office a call.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of locations needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. Today's Topic Will Be About:

Dentures (Dental)

There are various kinds of dentures, but they share their common function. They replace teeth that have actually become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is big enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. No one enjoys losing their natural teeth, but you can still eat and talk regularly.

The whole mouth is analyzed and a decision is made regarding which teeth will have to be removed, and which will stay. The loose teeth are then removed. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth remain in the mouth, depending on the type. There is an adjustment period after dentures are positioned in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. Once accustomed to the dentures, all the normal performance and appearance return and one simply continues as usual. Commonly implants can be utilized to further support the dentures.

It is very important to note that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a significant lifestyle change when compared to natural teeth. Dentures affect the kind of food you are able to eat, your confidence in social scenarios, as well as your self-esteem.

Reasons For Getting A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the very same arch

  • Restore chewing capability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other procedures

An upper complete denture will almost always feel better than a lower complete denture. In order to dramatically enhance the fit of a lower complete denture, we often recommend using dental implants as a retentive mechanism. 2 dental implants placed in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and substantially enhance comfort. In some cases, the implants can even be positioned in the jaw after a denture has been in use for numerous years.
