Our whole dental practice is state-of-the-art, except for our client care and concern which is standard. We know the pain missing teeth can cause clients, and therefore we are extremely pleased to be able to supply patients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to enhance a tooth, and return it to its original function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the surrounding teeth, so they can not be discovered by others as being anything less than a permanent tooth. With a dental crown, you have the ability to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never ever be interfered with. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it is there in your mouth.

Same day crowns are an extremely amazing offering of our practice. We are able to have you with a lovely new smile in just one day. Our office has advanced devices that allows dentists to offer you with crowns in just a small fraction of the time that was needed previously.

CAD/CAM technology is exactly what makes this interesting advancement possible. The acronym means computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We are able to use this technology in our system. This system is used to restore teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an additional visit to our practice, a week or two later. We're sure you have much more amazing things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dental practitioner's chair any longer than you have to!

Using our brand-new system, we scan the prepared tooth in your mouth or from an impression, and then send the information to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the specific specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. When the crown is crated, we put it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your new tooth to a beautiful and natural-looking luster. This technology can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you need a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or business occasion, this procedure might certainly be perfect for you. If you are interested in learning more about this procedure, contact us today for a consultation.

Today's Topic Is:

Root Canal

Root canal treatment (also described as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy) is needed when a cavity is allowed, through neglect, to reach all the way to the root pulp. (Regular cleanings and checkups prevent and detect issues early). Often deep restorations or trauma to a tooth might also cause the nerve to be harmed to the point it requires root canal therapy. When this occurs, the pulp ends up being infected, and can even extend through the root tip and start to eat away at the surrounding bone (this is an abscess).

By the time the pulp is infected it should be treated, and can not heal by itself. It can even weaken the entire immune system. This is dangerous, and might be really unpleasant. Symptoms that the pulp has actually ended up being infected might consist of sensitivity to hot/cold or sugary foods, discomfort, swelling, pain to biting or pressure, and a bad taste in the mouth. Often, however, no symptoms appear and the person is unaware of any problem up until a checkup.

A root canal is then performed to clean out the infected tooth pulp, and sanitize the canals of the tooth. The only other treatment would be to extract the tooth. When the infection is dealt with, the canal(s) are filled in to prevent any additional infection. Usually a core build-up and crown is recommended for bring back a tooth that has had root canal treatment.
