Same Day Teeth Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of locations requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.
CEREC can be used for a wide range of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.
Discovering issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, expensive procedures or surgeries. X-rays are primarily used to detect:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.
Huge on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.
Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the doctor to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a large format for easier detection of issues, all while decreasing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available immediately after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also allows us to send out and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
