Are you short on time? We offer same day crown restorations! This brand-new technology allows our staff to carry out a variety of dental restorations in just one visit! Same day crown restorations give your tooth a natural match to the rest of your teeth, and can help to reserve the healthy part of that tooth.

Why get a same day crown instead of a standard one?

Less time in the dental chair (Just one visit that lasts two hours) half the number of appointments, fewer anesthetics, less tooth structure is lost in many cases, we can make the majority of the prep work for these crowns without removing too much of your natural tooth.

When the design process begins, you are free to move about the office and even have extra dentistry such as fillings. There is about a 20 minute time frame in the middle of the appointment where the crown unit is being produced.

Same day crowns are green (environmentally friendly) and are efficient and saves you money. (Fewer products used, & less appointments indicate less miles driven in your {car|vehicle).

Today's Conversation Will Be About:

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of the majority of clients, there are multiple ways to bleach teeth. The most popular method is using a home tooth lightening system that will whiten teeth significantly. Since tooth bleaching just works on natural tooth enamel, it is necessary to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after lightening so they will match the freshly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use multiple approaches: customizeded tray bleaching, professional strength white strips, and in-office whitening.

The tray technique involves having impressions taken, which the lab makes into custom-made vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The entire procedure takes about a week of daily use. Three different strengths of gel may be used, however, the greater the strength, the greater the possibility of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray method is recommended for badly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take numerous months of use to see significant color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a extremely quick and hassle-free whitening process. The visit is around one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our patients like this treatment due to the fact that it is so easy and fast!

Tooth lightening is not permanent. A touch-up might be needed once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays need to be utilized every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, and so on).
