Can Same Day Crowns Help Me?

With this new innovation it enables dentists to custom-craft restorations in just one hour. With this, we can produce natural looking crowns, onlays, inlays, and veneers here in our office while you relax. Now, there is no longer a need to make numerous trips to the dental practitioner's office to be measured and fitted with temporary restorations - you can take pleasure in a fantastic, natural looking, and durable solution for your missing or damaged teeth today.

Initially, your dental practitioner will meet with you to discuss the information of the procedure. Throughout the treatment, the dental practitioner will apply a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a special camera to take a photo of your tooth.

Using the brand-new software, the image works as a map to create your tooth's restoration. Then, it will use a diamond bur and disk-work to create your restoration piece from ceramic.

Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using cutting edge adhesive dentistry.

It makes your teeth stronger and more gorgeous - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the state-of-the-art ceramic product is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Today's Subject Will Be:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Discovering issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, expensive treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mostly utilized to spot:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The worry of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Huge on-screen X-rays make patient communication more effective. The instant observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.

Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the client and the doctor to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a big format for much easier detection of issues, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available instantly after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also allows us to send out and get your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you quickly.
