Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns meant coming into the dental practitioner's office a minimum of two times. The first check-up included getting an impression of your tooth and a short-term crown. Then, a couple of weeks later, a 2nd visit enabled the short-term crown to be removed and a brand-new permanent crown to be positioned on your tooth. We use the latest technology to make dental work easier for you and your day to day schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a state-of-the-art same day crown technology to develop ceramic onlays and crowns that fit just right, in just one check-up with a small camera to develop a 3D picture of the tooth that needs to be repaired. This means a physical mold, which is unpleasant and time consuming, is no longer necessary.

Using CAD/CAM software, We develop a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling machine. This technology can develop the brand-new restoration in as little as 15 minutes.

The restoration is connected to your tooth using a bonding material, and the new addition will match your natural teeth so nobody will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today for more information about same day crowns innovation, and take care of those problems you may have been postponing.

Today's Subject Is:

Root Canal

Root canal treatment (also described as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy) is essential when a cavity is allowed, through neglect, to reach all the way to the root pulp. (Regular cleanings and checkups prevent and detect problems early). Sometimes deep restorations or trauma to a tooth might also trigger the nerve to be damaged to the point it needs root canal therapy. As soon as this takes place, the pulp ends up being infected, and can even extend through the root tip and begin to eat away at the surrounding bone (this is an abscess).

By the time the pulp is infected it should be treated, and can not recover on its own. It can even damage the entire immune system. This is dangerous, and may be extremely uncomfortable. Signs that the pulp has ended up being infected might consist of sensitivity to hot/cold or sugary foods, discomfort, swelling, pain to biting or pressure, and a bad taste in the mouth. Often, however, no symptoms appear and the individual is unaware of any problem until a checkup.

A root canal is then carried out to clear out the infected tooth pulp, and decontaminate the canals of the tooth. The only other treatment would be to remove the tooth. As soon as the infection is fixed, the canal(s) are filled in to prevent any further infection. Usually a core build-up and crown is suggested for bring back a tooth that has actually had root canal therapy.
