Our practice likes brand-new innovations, specifically when it enhances the dental care that we can provide to our clients. Because of this we now provide same day crowns.

Same day crowns are a remarkable new technology where beautiful all porcelain crowns are created within 2 hours of the preparation of a tooth for a crown. The old process was where the dentist prepared your tooth for a crown, took an impression and sent this impression to a laboratory to have the crown built. Throughout this time the patient would have to wear a short-term plastic crown that was always uncomfortable.

Today, our devices allows us to scan the tooth preparation and mill out a new all porcelain crown within two hours. This means that the client leaves our practice with the permanent crown that day!

  • There's no need to wear a temporary crown for 2 to 3 weeks.

  • There's no need to return once again to have the one day crown inserted on your tooth.

  • There's no need to be numbed up once again! No more needles!

Our practice likes same day crowns because it is made of beautiful material and also extremely durable.

If your interested in a same day crown, please give our office a call.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used in a wide scope of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

Today's Conversation Is About:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure in which we apply a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be utilized in specific situations where a tooth has been broken or become stained. These are typically minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this fairly inexpensive ways rather than through a more pricey dental treatment.

Here Is How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the positioning of the tooth, close gaps in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to get a shiny finish as a last step.
