Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns meant coming into the dental practitioner's office at least 2 times. The very first visit included getting an impression of your tooth and a temporary crown. Then, a couple of weeks later, a second check-up enabled the temporary crown to be removed and a new long-term crown to be placed on your tooth. We use the latest technology making dental work easier for you and your busy schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a cutting edge same day crown technology to develop ceramic onlays and crowns that fit just right, in simply one visit with a little camera to develop a 3D image of the tooth that has to be repaired. This means a physical mold, which is unpleasant and time consuming, is no longer necessary.

Using CAD/CAM software, We produce a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling machine. This technology can produce the new restoration in as little as 15 minutes.

The restoration is adhered to your tooth using a bonding material, and the new addition will match your natural teeth so no one will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today for more information about same day crowns innovation, and take care of those problems you might have been postponing.

Today's Discussion Will Be About:

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of most patients, there are multiple methods to whiten teeth. The most popular method is using a home tooth lightening system that will whiten teeth dramatically. Since tooth bleaching just works on natural tooth enamel, it is very important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after lightening so they will match the recently bleached teeth.

Most dentists use numerous methods: customizeded tray whitening, professional strength white strips, and in-office lightening.

The tray technique involves having impressions taken, which the lab produces into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole procedure takes about a week of daily use. 3 different strengths of gel may be used, however, the higher the strength, the higher the possibility of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray method is suggested for severely stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take numerous months of use to see significant color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very fast and convenient bleaching process. The appointment is approximately one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our patients like this treatment due to the fact that it is so easy and fast!

Tooth bleaching is not permanent. A touch-up may be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays ought to be used every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (excessive fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
