Same Day Crown Restorations
CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of locations needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.
CEREC can be utilized for a broad range of indications: inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns and veneers.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.
Identifying problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, expensive procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mostly used to identify:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of exposure to excess radiation is removed.
Big on-screen X-rays make client communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.
Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the client and the medical professional to see images of the teeth in higher resolution on a huge format for much easier detection of issues, all while decreasing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The process we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available quickly after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent establishing and mounting x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also allows us to send and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you quickly.
