Same Day Dental Crowns Near You

Requiring any type of dental work finished can seem like a hassel, however it is essential to follow up on when it comes to maintaining your oral health. Some individuals may avoid visiting their dentist or having particular dental treatments completed simply because they think that the ordeal may use up too much of their time. When it comes to same day dental crowns that is just not the case, as we can provide our clients with same day dental crowns should they require it.

Even though dental crowns are considered in addition to other treatments that fall under the cosmetic dentistry category, they can help to greatly improve anyone's oral health. Dental crowns are primarily used to fix the size, shape, and function of a tooth. Most frequently, dental crowns are used following a root canal therapy procedure in which a portion of the tooth mass is removed in order to get rid of decayed parts of the tooth. A dental crown is then used to help restore what parts of the tooth were lost so that it can work as it once did, restoring the oral well being of the client.

In some cases, dental crowns take some time to process and are crafted in a laboratory while the client wears a short-term crown in its stead. Now we can provide patients with same day dental crowns! Instead of having to visit us several times before restoring your tooth, we can offer you with a crown the very same day that you come in to get one fitted.

If you require a dental crown, you will not have to wait and arrange numerous visits. Our staff and dental practitioners will provide you with all the services that you need in a single visit to work around your busy schedule. Don't let your dental health go forgotten due to the fact that you do not have the time. If you want to learn more about same day dental crowns, call us and set up an appointment today.

Today's Topic Will Be:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure where we apply a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be used in certain situations where a tooth has actually been broken or become stained. These are usually small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this reasonably affordable means instead of through a more costly dental procedure.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the alignment of the tooth, close spaces between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to get a glossy finish as a last step.
