If you have a missing tooth or teeth, you know the humiliation and discomfort this can trigger. You have most likely been examining methods you can restore your smile and excellent bite. We think you will be extremely interested to know that at our practice, you are able to receive same day crowns! It is a comfy one-day procedure!

Our entire dental practice is state-of-the-art, except for our client care and concern which is traditional. We understand the pain missing teeth can cause clients, and therefore we are very delighted to be able to provide patients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to reinforce a tooth, and return it to its original function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the surrounding teeth, so they can not be spotted by others as being anything less than a long-term tooth. With a dental crown, you are able to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never ever be interrupted. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it is there in your mouth.

Same day crowns are a very interesting offering of our practice. We have the ability to have you with a beautiful new smile in just one day. Our office has cutting edge equipment that enables dental practitioners to offer you with crowns in just a small fraction of the time that was required in the past.

CAD/CAM technology is what makes this interesting advancement possible. The acronym represents computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We have the ability to use this innovation in our system. This system is used to fix teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an additional appointment to our practice, a week or two later. We're sure you have a lot more interesting things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dental practitioner's chair any longer than you need to!

Using our new system, we scan the prepared tooth in your mouth or from an impression, and then send out the information to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the specific specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. As soon as the crown is crated, we place it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your new tooth to a gorgeous and natural-looking radiance. This innovation can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you require a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or company event, this process might certainly be perfect for you. If you are interested in learning more about this process, contact us today for an appointment.

The Conversation For Today Is:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Detecting issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, pricey treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mainly used to discover:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The worry of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.

Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the client and the medical professional to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a large format for much easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the client. The process we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available quickly after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also enables us to send out and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
