Same Day Tooth Restorations
CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.
CEREC can be used in a full scope of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.
Detecting issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, pricey treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mainly used to discover:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The worry of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.
Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.
Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the client and the medical professional to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a large format for much easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the client. The process we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available quickly after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also enables us to send out and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
