Why Choose Single Day Dental Crowns?

There are lots of advantages of single visit crowns over standard crown technology.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one appointment, conserving you significant time away from your job and family.

  • Convenience: With same day crowns, there is no need for a temporary crown, which eliminates significant possible pain and inconvenience of a lost short-term restoration. Only one visit means only one injection, or no injections if the tooth was previously treated with a root canal. No standard impressions means no gagging.

  • Visual appeals: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic materials of this brand-new technology restores your teeth to their natural strength, beauty, and function and closely match the composition of natural tooth structure.

  • Strength: Milled ceramic is tougher than the standard technique of layering and pressing, so your smile will stay lovely for multiple years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown material and innovation can also be used for fillings. Since they are made out of porcelain, they are more long lasting than white composite fillings. They are much more aesthetic than mercury containing silver fillings and stronger because of bonding innovation.

If you have any more questions about same day crowns or porcelain crowns, please do not hesitate to contact our office today. We will address any questions you have and you can make an appointment to consult with our dentist face to face.

The Topic Of The Day Will Be:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a treatment in which we apply a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in certain scenarios where a tooth has been damaged or become stained. These are normally small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this reasonably inexpensive methods instead of through a more pricey dental procedure.

How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the alignment of the tooth, close spaces in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface area. Then the material itself is put on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to get a glossy finish as a last step.
