Why Choose One Day Crowns?

There are numerous advantages of single day crowns over standard crown technology.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one visit, conserving you considerable time away from your job and family.

  • Convenience: With same day crowns, there is no need for a short-term crown, which removes significant possible pain and inconvenience of a lost temporary restoration. Only one appointment means only one injection, or no injections if the tooth was previously treated with a root canal. No standard impressions which means there is no gagging.

  • Looks: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic materials of this new innovation restores your teeth to their natural durability, charm, and function and closely match the composition of natural tooth structure.

  • Strength: Milled ceramic is tougher than the standard method of layering and pressing, so your smile will stay stunning for multiple years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown material and innovation can also be used for fillings. Because they are made out of porcelain, they are more resilient than white composite fillings. They are a lot more aesthetic than mercury containing silver fillings and stronger because of bonding innovation.

Today's Discussion Is About:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a treatment in which we apply a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be used in certain situations where a tooth has actually been broken or ended up being stained. These are typically minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this reasonably affordable methods rather than through a more pricey dental procedure.

How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the alignment of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is placed on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to get a shiny finish as a last step.
