With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.
Detecting problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, expensive treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mainly utilized to discover:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.
Big on-screen X-rays make patient communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.
Digital radiography has significantly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the patient and the medical professional to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a big format for easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available immediately after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also enables us to send and get your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you quickly.
