Temporary crowns and second visits for crowns are now normally unnecessary thanks to the same day crown technology. We provide this exciting one-visit crown technology in our office, adding higher convenience to the process of getting a crown. The waiting time between your procedure and when you get your long-term crown is eliminated.

The same day crown technology is an instrument that enables ceramic restorations (crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays) to be performed in one visit instead of two. The computer collaborates with a wireless digital camera enabling the dentist to make digital impressions without the discomfort of bulky impression material.

After taking the picture the computer takes over and mills your custom-made crown immediately so that we can cement your brand-new crown that very same day. The results we see are incredible. With the same day crowns, the strength, aesthetics, and fit of the ceramic restorations are superb.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.

CEREC can be used for a full scope of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

Today's Subject Is:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Discovering issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, costly treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mostly utilized to detect:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Huge on-screen X-rays make patient communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.

Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the doctor to see images of the teeth in higher resolution on a huge format for much easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The process we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also allows us to send and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
